Grace for your spirit
We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken ; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. II Cor 4:8-10
As disciples of Christ, we have a great value that is not diminished by difficult circumstances. We are children of the King, and are blessed with all riches. We are kind of like a $100 bill. You can take that bill, crumple it, write on it, tear it, tape it, step on it, drop it in the mud, and it is still worth $100. Like the apostle Paul, don’t despair when crushed, persecuted, and struck down. With Jesus in our life we hold our value, no matter what.
