Grace for your spirit
Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who are with me greet you. All the saints greet you, especially those of Caesar's household. Philippians 4:21-22
Bringing the Apostle Paul to Rome as a prisoner, was kind of like bringing the fox into the henhouse. Rome considered Christianity to be one of their biggest enemies. The average person would have thought that Paul’s arrest would be a great setback for Christianity. In fact, they were completely wrong. Paul wrote from his imprisonment in Rome that everything was just fine. He let everyone know that it helped the spread of the gospel everywhere. Significantly, Paul was able to spread the good news to everyone he met in Rome. As Caesar tried to defeat Christianity, I wonder how long it took him to realize that there was a church in his house?
