If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, "Let us follow other gods" (gods you have not known) "and let us worship them," you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. Deut 13:1-3
Once again we are being bombarded by fortune tellers who have predicted the end of the world in 2012. Also there is talk about sun calendars that support that date. The credibility for these predictions, is the record of their predictions in the past. These dreamers do not direct us toward the living God and His word. Our loyalty to God is our test. Do we love God, or love myths, and idols. If Jesus doesn’t know the time of the end, how can anyone else.? Choose this day whom you will serve.
