Grace for your spirit
I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven; but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Matt 8:11-12
Jesus came to earth to establish a new covenant with His people. This covenant would be open to all people through faith. The old covenant was about to close. The table of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob would not be the place to be served anymore. If you sit there, you won’t be helped. We may go into a restaurant and sit wherever we want, but if that section is closed, we won’t be eating today. It is important that we follow the directions of Jesus. At the table of faith, the service is excellent.
