This was the song David wanted the people to sing and remember the lessons. We all need to remember that we must have the Lord on our side in order to achieve victory against our enemies. It is a foolish person that feels their victories are won alone. As we sing that song of thankfulness, it would also be helpful to remember that we need to be on His side as well.
