Grace for your spirit
Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set you mind on the things above, not on the things that are on the earth. Colossians 3:2
There is an old gospel hymn that says, "Kneel at the cross, give your idols up, look unto realms above. Turn not again to life;s sparkling cup, Trust always in His love." Jesus rose from the grave to victory, We rise from the waters of baptism, to walk in our new life. Jesus ascended back to the Father, and we trust we will rise to meet Him someday too. Everything is up. When we look down and around, all we will see is things to drag us away. Historians look back, philosophers look in, but Christians look up.
