Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." And Jesus said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. Matthew 16:16-17
It was faith like Peter's that Jesus chose as an example to build His church. Faith like Peter's got him the keys to the kingdom and a place in the inner circle with Jesus. He got this faith feeding on the words God and not from anyone in the world. Who is feeding us right now? If we choose our path from those in this world, our walk will be unsure.
When our faith is developed by the Word from God, even though we might be insignificant, our faith can be a rock. Is our rock of faith a spiritual building spot for anyone? Let's return our attention to our Father, and enjoy the benefits.
