Therefore encourage one another and build up one another just as you also are doing. I Thessalonians 5:11
Encouragement is not a passive activity. If you read the next 11 verses here, we see it is very proactive. Actions like, build up, appreciate, esteem, admonish, encourage, help, rejoice, pray, learn, examine, and hold fast. These are the actions that help us to grow, and help others to excel. Let's plan ahead of time, and be ready to make a positive difference wherever we go. Maybe someone will call you Barnabas someday too.
