Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison,so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. Revelation 2:10
The revelation of Jesus Christ is meant to be a letter of encouragement. It is a message that lets us all know that Jesus knows where we are, what we are going through, and how He will help us. In a careful study of the life of Jesus, we learn that Jesus suffered, was tested, tempted in all ways, had tribulations, and was faithful all the way to death. He overcame death with a victorious resurrection. We come to realize that Jesus will never ask us to do anything that He Himself did not already endure. In that way He really understands, and can come to our aid at all times.
