Suddenly it seems that most everyone has an overwhelming desire to be connected. Cellphones, text messages, facebook, twitter and the like, is consuming our lives. Some never take their eyes off their mobile devices, even to drive or walk. We have the need to share our innermost thoughts and want to be "liked". How much better we would all be if we would turn those connection desires to God. God has supplied us with a "heavenly mobile device", in the form of prayer. Our constant connection with God will really help us, plus don't have to beg Him to "like us", and "be our friend".
