Grace for your spirit December 17 2013

Grace for your spirit
So Joseph found favor in his sight and became his personal servant; and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he owned he put in his charge.  Genesis 39:4

Joseph was sold into slavery in Egypt by his angry brothers.  He was a teen, living in a foreign land, among foreign gods, and seemingly forgotten by his family.  He could have lived in rebellion, but instead he chose to live by his faith in his God.  God blessed him in his horrible circumstances and Joseph gained the respect of his captors.  That respect lifted him to great success, and he was put in a place to save the world from starvation.  Let's not complain about our circumstances, rather gain the respect of others as we are faithful to God.  Who knows what joys God has for us in the future?
