And do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful to even speak of the things which are done by them in secret. Ephesians 5:11-12
How do we get from viewing something as horribly sinful deeds of darkness to being part of the shame? First we tolerate them in our lives, next we accept them as inevitable, and finally we are living in them. We can no longer expose the errors without exposing ourselves. Let's walk in the light and be careful not to get used to the darkness.
