Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love. I Corinthians 16:13-14
It is possible for us to be great students of the Bible, be given many talents and gifts, be fully equipped to serve, and still fall down in our Christian walk. All the text of I Corinthians illustrated this truth with the trouble they experienced. No matter how well equipped we are, personal preparation is essential. Let's practice being alert, firm in faith, strong in our stand, filled with love. Combining these with our gifts will give us victory in Jesus.
