Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:12-13
Our salvation is a gift from God through Jesus Christ. We can never earn our salvation by working for it. The work is what we do after we have received it. We are created in Christ for good works to work out, pour out and shine out what has been worked in us. As the Lord sees our salvation everyone else will see it too.
