Behold as for the proud one, his soul is not right within him; But the righteous will live by his faith. Habakkuk 2:4
The only time our soul is ever right within us is when we humble ourselves enough to let God control our lives. When we are proud and think we can handle everything ourselves, we push God, and righteousness by faith out the door. This prophet was too proud to accept God's word, but he needed to change. We need to walk by faith and not by self assurance. Let's accept the promises and judgments from God whether we like them are not.
