Son of Man, I have appointed you a watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me. Ezekiel 3:17
Ezekiel was a man who could not afford to avoid controversy. He had a message from God, and he clearly knew the consequences of not delivering that message. He was appointed to warn people, and if He didn't warn them he would be help accountable. Their blood would be on his hands. With the mission we have from Jesus, we can hardly afford to avoid controversy. The message we have from Jesus is certainly urgent to lost souls, and for our souls as well. Go ye, means go me.
